Rodriguez Ties Career Pin Record


Dante Rodriguez reached a milestone in Nebraska Wrestling History at the Greater Nebraska Athletic Conference tournament. Rodriguez recorded his 120th career pin in the finals matchup over Dylan Peterson from North Platte. Dante is currently 33-0 with 32 wins by fall this season.

Kearney High alumni wrestler David Miller currently holds the record for career pins at 120. Rodriguez will have 3 more tournaments to add to his record tying performance from this weekend. Dante currently has a career record of 146-16. He finished 2nd in the state at 106 pounds as a Freshman, and was a state champion as a Sophomore at 106 pounds. Last season, as a Junior he was a state champion at 120 pounds. Rodriguez is currently ranked number 1 at 132 pounds for the Bearcats.
