The Bearcats advanced to the championship match up against Hastings based on point criteria (most points scored in both duals).
In the championship final Kearney was able to jump out to an early lead due to a forfeit at heavyweight, a technical fall from Jordan Bober at (113lbs) and a pin by Damon Rodriguez at (132lbs). However, Hastings was able to pick up 3 pins in the last 7 match ups to win the dual by a final score of 38-27.
