The JV Bearcats placed third in the 12 team field finishing the day going 3-2 with a three-way tie for second between Kearney, St. Paul, and Wilber-Clatonia in which criteria came into effect for placing results.

In what Kearney coach Ty Swarm considered to be the toughest Flatwater Fracas ever assembled, the Bearcats came out on top.
Kearney defeated four teams that were ranked in the top five in the dual rankings in their classes to come away with its second-consecutive Fracas title Saturday at the Heartland Events Center.

Kearney High School wrestlers took the mat against some of the best wrestlers in the Midwest this past weekend. The Bearcats competed at the 40 team Council Bluffs Classic on Friday and Saturday, finishing in 5th place.
